I was reading this morning a post over at UberGizmo about pico projector resolution and the future it may hold. According to Syndiant’s CTO, Karl Guttag, Picos may jump right from the unimpressive into HD territory.
According to Karl, this technology is already in the works and is likely just three short years away from realization. Now that may be a stretch, and it may not. Other companies are joining the pico projector technology race, giant companies like Apple, who are ready to sink a truckload of cash into R and D. So we may see HD resolution faster than the three year mark. Time will tell.
I know one thing, pico’s are here to stay. We’ll see a giant rush for them in cell phones and hand helds this Christmas. That’s my bet anyway.
