Apple filed patent #20100079653 for embedding a pico projector into a computer. This patent has some real meat, because it actually shows drawings of a MacBook with a built-in pico projector. They show one in the back and then another drawing shows one on the side.

US Patent Office Website for Patent #20100079653 – When I checked, I could not see any of the images or drawings. I’m not sure if you have to purchase it to see these or if it is just a buggy website. I’m also not sure how much it costs. I added it to my cart, but it still didn’t say what the cost was, presumably until I register.

As an aside, who would have *ever imagined* building a pico-projector into a computer?
