The Aiptek T20 Pocket Cinema pico projector is now available for pre order, at least in the UK, via Amazon. The current release date is listed as September 1 and it has a list price of £199.99 ($330 US).

It does not have a battery, it was actually built to be connected to another powering device such as a laptop, Ipod, camera, etc, via USB cable connection. Also of note, it does not have a media player.

Aiptek also announced the T30, which is designed specifically for connection to the Ipod or Iphone. this pico projector uses RGB LED instead of white LED backlighting, and it can project up to a 50-inch display. It’s also equipped with AV-in recording.

Aiptek at Computex provided looks at a pair of pico projectors both tailored to portable hardware. The T30 is the smallest and is intended for iPhones and iPods that need a larger view for video.

(Sorry, I don’t have any pictures available of the T30 in this post. I’ll try to add some later)
